Corey Scherer recently moved into a new home, which him and his roommates, Jake Webber, Sam Golbach & Colby Brock, call the #traphouse. He's slowly started to add the finishing touches to his already impressive living quarters. I'm definitely honored that he thought of me when he started to plot out how he could create a one-of-a-kind vibe that he'd enjoy looking at all day, which could double as a cool backdrop for his videos.
Competing with the existing trap house attractions is no small task. Some examples include the Hawaiian-inspired backyard, which features an amazing grotto style pool, a waterfall that doubles as a waterslide, a giant trampoline, basketball and handball courts, and a full tiki bar.
Then there's the the #McDonald's inspired bedroom, the movie theater, game lounge, and all of the other (presumably) equally awesome bedrooms that I haven't gotten to explore quite yet. So Corey and I knew we needed to go hard with his home. Naturally, I was able to deliver a result that was nothing short of breath taking. **brushes shoulders off** It's amazing how #cloudcave #led #cloud #lights instantly transform a room into something heavenly. Hehe, get it?
Initially, Corey wanted to have the whole ceiling covered in clouds... but after seeing a few of them hanging, he decided on a more realistic, scattered #cloudscape.
It was two long days of work but just seeing the result, on top of being able to peek in behind the scenes and see how #influencers go about their day, was well worth it. Plus all the Trap House boys are super nice and welcoming, so it was a pretty rewarding experience overall.
Unfortunately, this was the same weekend that Sam Goldbach jumped off the 2nd story balcony on a dare, and broke his back:
Thankfully, he can still walk, even if it is with the help of a cane. Sam should make a full recovery within a couple of months, provided that he doesn't do anything too crazy in the meantime. #Selfcare #getwellsam
